On 31st december of the year 2008,
the last day of 2008 and the 7th day of christmas,
He gave me a PERFECT gift.
the gift of realisation.
i was flipping through stacks of papers containing random indecipherable handwritten notes of mine that actually resembles more of snake-like drawings-or maybe it is.
whatever it is i came upon a scrap of note which scribbled a verse,"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."- Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
And followed by that particular note, was a notebook which i used to take down notes from Pastor Dan's sermon.

God sees us not as sinners nor blacksheeps but as sheeps without shepherds.- Matthew 9
He sees us not as sinners but as people that have no leader to lead us in the right direction.
David feared no evil, for He is with Him. His rod and His staff comfort him.-Psalm 23
The rod chases away wild animals, the staff held onto sheeps that fall into ravines.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. He is the One that goes BEFORE you,He is the light.He is in your future too. He had been through first, what you will go through.
All these verses soothes and assures me greatly of a good 2009 ahead for me. I learnt not to: let your exam results be the reflection of your future.Don't let your deeds and doings or the work of your hands be the reflection of who you are.Let whatever you do, be the reflection of God's glory and his goodness in your heart.We are like the Moon, with no light of its own, It shines and reflects the Sun. We must remain our identity in Christ, be in the light of God. We muust abide in Him and be a reflection of Him.
He is our rear guard, He is our Asaph.
Our God is a good GOD.
WE are the reason for Him to give up His son,
and HE is the reason that I will live on in everlasting glory of Him.
