many things struck me today.
erm, ok maybe not, quite a few.
but it was enough.
enough for me to want to blog it out at least.
hah.

#1 i always heard that "people tends to cherish only when they feel like they are losing." common. but i didnt know there was a second part to it. and that they might rather give up what
they had to reach out for something that they are losing. at least not till today.
#2 i was taught that true giving means giving with all your heart without expecting any return. then again, what is the probability of this to turn into actions in this pragmatic society of ours? even teachers hope to see gratitude in students after they graduate, don't they? the policy" Work for Reward, Reward for Work". people need some form of reward, need to get something back, to feel accomplished, dont they? it doesnt mean monetary rewards. Putting materialistic people aside, even volunteers, they hope to see smiles on the faces of whom they had helped, its still a form of reward to them right? everyone needs something to motivate them right? and with that, i think its rather impossible to do something and not secretly wishing that you will ger something back- something nice.
#3 last but not the least, biology. biology teaches us about how amazing our human body is, and how it works in this wondorous way, with everything for every action, from consuming to egesting. then admist all these studying and your biology teacher's droning, did it dawn on you that our lives are rather mechanical and mundane? and whats about those sensory neurone, motor neurone stimulus and homestatesis? As we are learning about how interesting our physical body is, what about our life?
man. this seems to be a rather depressing post. well, but anyway its just my point of view, though its a lil subtle. even to myself. however, no matter how crappish this seems, but definitely and surely, i hadnt lose my point. life is an irony. and this is 4 ironies in a post.
